Philosophy

Every measurable result has an instructional root.

When schools strengthen the systems that support teaching and learning, educators flourish and students achieve.

Meet Dr. Cynde Wadley

An educator’s perspective.
A systems leader’s lens.
A partner’s commitment.

Dr. Cynde Wadley has spent 38+ years helping students, educators, schools, and districts build stronger foundations for learning.

Her work connects instructional expertise with the leadership systems required to turn good intentions into consistent practice.

I have spent my career looking beneath the scores.

I have spent my career looking beneath the scores.

Student outcomes matter deeply—but a score is the end of a story, not the beginning.

My work has taught me to ask what students experienced before the assessment:

  • What were they taught?

  • How consistently?

  • What support did teachers receive?

  • How were intervention decisions made? What did leaders monitor, protect, and reinforce?

Roots & Results® grew from those questions.

Dr. Cynde Wadley began her education career as a second-grade teacher in 1988 and spent 18 years teaching first and second grade. She later served educators and districts through roles that included instructional coaching, regional education service center support, district curriculum and technology leadership, and districtwide English language arts and bilingual/ESL leadership.

Her experience spans classroom instruction, professional learning, curriculum implementation, literacy and mathematics, bilingual/ESL programs, MTSS and intervention, leadership coaching, educational sales and implementation support, and university teaching. That range allows her to connect policy, curriculum, adult learning, daily classroom practice, and student response.

Today, Dr. Wadley leads Wadley Educational Consulting, LLC and the Roots & Results® Framework, partnering with school systems to identify root causes, strengthen instructional systems, and build the internal capacity required for lasting improvement.

  4. We will use evidence to celebrate progress, identify barriers, and adjust together.
